How does the free trial work?
Every plan โ Starter or Pro โ comes with a 7-day free trial, no credit card required to start. Try it with your real signals and decide if it's worth paying for. Cancel before day 7 and you're never charged.
"One deal pays for the year" โ is that actually realistic?
Yes, and the math is conservative. The average B2B deal is $15,000+. The annual Pro plan is $276. If Wiseguys alerts you to even one deal that you close โ one โ you've covered your subscription for over 50 years. Most reps see ROI in their first week.
What's the difference between daily digest and real-time?
Daily digest (Starter) sends one email each morning summarizing the prior day's signals. Real-time (Pro) means we text, Slack, or Teams you within minutes of detecting the news โ not next-morning. In competitive selling, minutes matter. First-mover advantage is real.
Can I cancel or change plans anytime?
Absolutely. Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel whenever you want โ no notice required, no penalty. If you're on an annual plan and cancel mid-year, we'll prorate your refund. We don't hold anyone hostage.
Where does the data come from?
We aggregate from 45+ sources: TechCrunch, Crunchbase, press releases, SEC filings, LinkedIn announcements, news wires, and more. Every signal is deduplicated, enriched with company context, and verified before it fires. You won't get noise โ just signal.
What counts as a "signal"?
A signal is a detected event that indicates a company is in motion: a funding round announcement, an M&A deal, or an executive-level hire or departure. Each signal includes the company name, event details, funding amount or deal size, and the source URL.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes โ 30-day full refund on any paid plan, no questions asked. After 30 days, we handle refund requests case-by-case (we're human about it). Annual plans that are cancelled get a prorated refund for the unused months.
What integrations do you support?
Starter includes email and Slack. Pro adds SMS and Microsoft Teams on top. Team โ coming soon โ will add CRM sync with Salesforce and HubSpot, so signals can be pushed directly to your pipeline. Enterprise plans include API access and custom webhooks.
How is this different from Google Alerts or Crunchbase?
Google Alerts is slow (hours to days), misses most signals, and can't do SMS. Crunchbase is a research database โ you have to go to it. Wiseguys comes to you, in minutes, on your phone. We also cover all three signal types together โ they don't. And we're a fraction of the cost of Crunchbase Pro or PitchBook.
Can my whole team use this?
Right now, Wiseguys is built for individual reps โ Starter or Pro. A dedicated Team plan with shared seats, shared watchlists, and CRM sync is coming soon. Join the waitlist on this page and we'll let you know the moment it's ready.
